Yoga for Pelvic Health

We offer therapeutic yoga instruction, with our Yoga for Pelvic Floor instructor Tanya Magney,  both in person or via zoom.  This type of instruction is ideal for clients with pelvic health goals in mind for their yoga practice, or for physical therapy patients transitioning out of treatment and back to full activity.

Tanya Magney is a Yoga for Pelvic Floor Instructor, certified Instructor in Prenatal Yoga, and Physical Therapy Assistant specializing in the treatment of pelvic dysfunction.

She brings a keen eye and compassionate approach to each session,  always with the intent of helping you to achieve your goals as you move through your yoga practice.

This type of individualized, tailored approach is ideal for those clients who are pregnant or postpartum, clients with pelvic pain,  pelvic organ prolapse, coccydynia, or pelvic floor dysfunction.  For these individuals, group classes may not be safe or comfortable; one-on-one instruction with a specialized yoga instructor is the safest and most comfortable way to reap the benefits of a yoga practice.  With an emphasis on the breath, healthy movement, and internal stillness, this targeted yoga practice can increase body awareness, and calm an overworked nervous system.   It is an excellent tool for improving pelvic health as part of a holistic approach.
