Dr. Leslie Wakefield MS, PT, CSCS

I believe that the body has an innate, instinctive healing capacity, and that with the right treatment this powerful ability can be harnessed to help you regain a life free of medication, pain, or dysfunction . To do this we must find and address the source of the problem. Therapy must be individualized to the patient, and must work with the body to facilitate true healing.
I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Miami, and hold a Masters degree in Human Performance from the University of Florida. My training includes Polestar Pilates instructor training, Barnes Myofascial Release, Visceral Manipulation, and pelvic floor therapy. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and in that capacity have worked with professional and collegiate athletes and dancers.

My approach in working with patients always starts with careful listening, and then is focused on stimulating to body’s own ability to heal. I incorporate a holistic approach by looking at the body as whole with a focus on treating the root cause of dysfunction, not only symptoms.
My interest in overall wellness has led me into an exciting career as a Physical Therapy Assistant. I have been a therapeutic Licensed Massage Therapist for over 10 years, specializing in Neuromuscular Therapy, Structural Integration, and Visceral Manipulation, and I have a passion for Yoga not only as an avid student but as a teacher.
I like to draw on this diversity of training to offer patients the best of care, and pelvic health is an area I am especially passionate about. I am a Yoga for Pelvic Floor instructor and am one of the few PTAs in the country trained in direct treatment of the pelvic floor.
Sara Giraldo, MSPT

I am passionate about treating the whole person, and see each individual as a universe within themselves- heart, spirit, body and mind.
My holistic approach to pelvic health treatment is informed by concepts of yoga and reiki, and also my own pelvic health healing journey. In my 11 years as a physical therapist, working in various settings with patients across the lifespan, I have learned that true healing comes from within and that part of our role as PTs is to guide our patients through their own unique process.
Whether our sessions are spent implementing the most up-to-date research concepts, diving within with more subtle treatment approaches, or a combination of both, I will be sure to meet your individual needs as we work towards your goals.

Lea Concillado, Administrative Assistant

I became a physical therapist in my home country of the Philippines because I was passionate about helping people. I was drawn to physical therapy because I was able to add quality to my patient's lives through fitness, preventative care, and treating injuries. When COVID hit I took the opportunity to work remotely in customer service, and came to be certified as a Healthcare Virtual Assistant.
I'm now able to contribute in patient's lives in a different way, which I take very seriously. I understand that when patients call looking for Pelvic Health PT they have often been looking for help for a long time. They may be anxious, or unsure, and often have many questions. My role is to serve not only as a point of contact and coordinator, but most importantly, to make it as easy as possible for our patients to access the care they need.
