Other Scarring

Scar tissue may result from physical trauma, infections, inflammatory processes, or surgery.

Dr. Wakefield, PT, has treated patients with scar tissue from endometriosis, appendectomy, cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal), bowel resection, hysterectomy, laparoscopy, rape trauma, mastectomy, breast augmentation, ovary removal, chronic infections, prolapse repair, and birthing trauma, among other things.

Consider scheduling a free consultation to find out if your symptoms might be related to scar tissue, and if they can be treated with physical therapy.
