Dr. Leslie Wakefield, MS PT

I created Wellsprings Health with a simple vision: to build an environment where both patients and therapists can truly thrive. Too often, I saw patients feeling overlooked or unheard in traditional settings—especially when facing pelvic health issues that are deeply personal and often considered taboo. These concerns are fundamental to overall well-being, yet many people struggle in silence, unsure of where to turn for help.

At Wellsprings Health, I wanted to create a space where patients feel seen, heard, and valued—where healing goes beyond the physical body to nurture the whole person. Because pelvic health touches every aspect of daily living and vitality, our care is designed to restore not only function, but also confidence, dignity, and hope.

My own journey began with a background in Exercise Physiology and Human Performance, earning both a BS and MS from the University of Florida. I went on to receive my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in 2011, followed by advanced training in pelvic health, manual therapies, and Pilates.

Today, I serve as the founder and Clinical Director of Wellsprings Health. In this role, I continue to treat patients directly while also guiding the clinical vision of our practice. A key part of that vision is bringing on exceptional clinicians who share our dedication to excellence and heart-centered care, ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of clinical expertise and support. By uniting expertise with empathy, we ensure that every patient feels confident in their care and supported in their path toward lasting well-being.
